After spending a day with her crafty and kitschy painting grandma, my daughter came home with these super cute flowers and stones that she painted herself! We then set out to create her very own "garden" by placing them in a grassy area outside.
This seems like such an easy craft and a great way to spend an afternoon. Although I wasn't there to witness the magic, I know once you give my kid some paint and materials and mention the word "craft" she quickly gets to work and is engrossed for hours! I really wish I could take credit for this craft post today, guys. Great work grandma!
Will you be doing this craft with your kids this summer?
Wooden flower shapes (Grandma got them from a garage sale but you could also check your local crafting store)
Paint, such as Americano Patio paints
Tape or glue
Give your child the wooden flowers, rock, and paint and let them create! Once paint and varnish have dried, glue or tape a stick onto the flower and stick into the ground or a potted plant. So easy!
